Yesterday I presented at TechEd Australia on virtualization for Sustainable Computing where I took everyone who attended through the six building blocks of building a virtualized environment:

- Power sizing Software
- Managing for Efficiency
One of the areas I talked about that I haven't mentioned here before was the real-life example of Microsoft IT virtualizing SQL and saving a tonne of rack space, power and money by doing so.
