An extra $30 million dollars has been put forward by the government to help business reduce water and energy use.
In addition, a 'task force' will be developed to examine the impact of the National Emissions Trading Scheme for business.
Phil Koperburg announced the funding will be distributed on a case by case basis, and depends on the initiative, and the energy and water savings.
The first round opens on 29 October and the application forms will be posted on the website after this date. For more information, see http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/grants/ccfgbp.htm.
