SusteIT (Sustainable Information Technology in Tertiary Education) have developed a user guide kit providing a carbon and cost comparison between thick (client/server) and thin client computing. The kit includes a word document explaining how to use the tool. The tool itself is a comprehensive Excel spreadsheet allowing organisations to calculate and compare thin and thick clients from an environmental and cost perspective.
